RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the LECC Manager with assigned administrative, clerical, and program coordination tasks
- Maintain Outlook contact cards and distribution lists for law enforcement coordination needs
- Update contact records used to communicate officer and public safety information
- Enter and track data related to meetings, trainings, events, contacts, and program activities
- Maintain program records, correspondence, and project documentation under federal guidelines
- Review documents for format, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar
- Send prepared announcements, emails, calendar invites, and other program information
- Support meeting, training, and special event planning, setup, registration, and closeout
- Coordinate printing, supplies, site setup, attendance records, and event support materials
- Prepare documentation for POST and Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police credit requests
- Produce written documents and materials using Microsoft Office and related software
- Enter information into databases and monitor records for continued program need
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, confidentiality, and required approvals
- Track LECC memberships, dues, and outside organization standing
- Arrange staff travel, conference registration, visitor approvals, and travel vouchers
- Support office automation tasks that combine output from multiple software tools
- Assist the LECC Manager with urgent program needs, special events, and vetting checks
- Provide information to law enforcement agencies as directed by the LECC Manager
- Maintain storage room inventory, supplies, filing, mailing, and related office support tasks
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to make responsible decisions on short notice and adapt to unexpected developments
- Excellent ability to prioritize task requests and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work and interact professionally and effectively with all levels of staff
- Ability to meet and deal with people in a courteous and tactful manner
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Physically located within the general geographic commuting radius of the USAO office
- Valid driver’s license
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience performing administrative, clerical, program support, or coordination duties similar to those described
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A four-year undergraduate degree preferred

- Situational telework may be authorized
CLEARANCE
- U.S. citizenship is required as it supports the U.S. federal government
- Must be able to obtain favorable adjudication for the required background investigation
