Position: Equipment Management Specialist/Calibration Lab Technician
Location: Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC)

Overview:
Join the Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC), the Navy’s lead facility for tracking radiation exposure in nuclear-powered operations. As a Calibration Technician, you'll support the day-to-day logistics and operations that help keep Navy and Marine Corps personnel safe. This includes managing equipment shipments, maintaining inventory, processing work orders, and helping with reporting and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ship and track equipment and supplies for various programs.
Keep inventory lists up to date and support annual audits.
Help manage consumable supply levels and reorders.
Coordinate quotes and services for equipment calibration and maintenance.
Assist in maintaining proper documentation and file systems.
Process work orders and input data into tracking systems.
Review and analyze data to support team initiatives.
Use quality control and troubleshooting skills to improve operations.
Help draft clear, accurate technical reports.
Use Excel, Word, and Access for data and documentation tasks.

- Experience processing and handling shipments of laboratory equipment and materials
- Experience maintaining and auditing inventories of laboratory equipment

- Experience working with MS Office suite (Excel, Access, Word)
- Experience utilizing MS SharePoint.
EDUCATION
- Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Health, or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system
- Experience with Navy/DOD guidance and policies about equipment and records management.

CLEARANCE
- U.S. citizenship is required since this role supports the U.S. Federal government
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Secret Security Clearance Required
